You may be wondering what exactly crack cauliflower is, and no there aren’t any drugs in it. Crack cauliflower is my take on a bang-bang cauliflower. I have renamed it because I have never been a huge cauliflower fan, however, after trying this recipe I have eaten it pretty much every other day for the past week. I’m making this post because I recently had a poll on my Instagram account regarding my two cauliflower recipes and I had a HUGE number of people messaging me for this recipe. If you haven’t seen my recipe for Buffalo Cauliflower Bites you can go check it out here!
Kids (or hubby) don’t want to eat their veggies? Not sure what to bring as an appetizer? This recipe will solve that!
Recipe (serves 4):
1 head of cauliflower
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp sweet chili sauce (I used teriyaki express brand)
2 tbsp Franks Red Hot Sauce (can also use sriracha)
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper (this makes for easy clean up). While the oven is preheating, cut your cauliflower into florets. In a small bowl combine olive oil, sweet chili sauce, Frank Red Hot, lemon juice, garlic and onion powder. Whisk until fully combined. Coat your florets with the sauce and lay flat on your baking tray. Cook for 25-30 minutes.
