The Plant Project Review

The Plant Project Review

I got the pleasure to try a few products from The Plant Project  (which you can find on their website).

My first impressions:

They looked super nice. All were packaged in clear plastic jars with black lids and a little sticker on top showing what it was. Also, they came in a small mesh bag which is super helpful for me so that I don’t lose them in my purse when I take them with me.

The three products that I got the chance to try out were:

Vanilla Body Butter

Their vanilla body butter is vegan and from 100% natural sources. Wanna know what’s even better? It’s only 4 ingredients! That’s right none of that filler stuff just 4 ingredients of greatness! It’s made up of mango butter, safflower oil, organic coconut oil and Madagascan vanilla beans. The body butter smells amazing and it is great for hydration. It does stay wet for a little time after applying it but I love putting it on my legs after shaving or before going to bed. When I put it on before bed it gives it time to all soak in and then I don’t notice that it’s wet.

Peppermint Lip Balm

The peppermint lip balm is great for hydrating dry lips throughout the winter. It smells great and is actually on sale right now! (normally $10 down to $6) If you want to grab your own clip on the link in the name! The lip balm is made with beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter, safflower oil, vitamin E and of course peppermint oil. I also recommend using this after the next one (the grapefruit lemon lip scrub). The only thing I would change about the lip balm is to have it be in a stick form rather than a little pot. That way it’s easier to apply and you don’t have to get it on your hands to apply (one thing that sucks when you’re trying to apply lip balm while out in the cold).

Grapefruit Lemon Lip Scrub

The grapefruit lemon lip scrub is also vegan and on sale! (normally $10 down to $6) Their lip scrubs are sugar based and use coconut oil to help moisturize your lips while scrubbing them smooth. It leaves my lips super soft after using it and then I like to use my peppermint lip balm after.

I love all three of these and I can’t wait to try new products as they come out!
