Taking a much needed bath

We all have those days where it feels like we’re running around like a chicken with our heads cut off. Maybe you’ve been busy at work trying to get a project done. Maybe you have family coming over and are rushing to get ready. No matter what it is there is no better feeling than being able to hop into a warm bath at the end of a long day.

Life is busy and it doesn’t stop moving but… sometimes you have to stop for just a little. Don’t forget to take time for yourself because even if it doesn’t seem like it, you need it! We all need time to do nothing and think, relax or just be alone.

I love being able to hop in the bath before bed after a cold winter day and just feel the warmth engulf me. Personally, the bath is one of the most peaceful places. You are always alone, it’s quiet and you can set the ambiance to whatever you want. I always light a candle, grab a drink and either read or watch some Netflix (Rocking the laptop on the toilet seat).

Light a candle, grab a glass of wine and pop a bath bomb in the tub. Then just hop in sit back and relax. No matter how many times you take a bath each one feels unique and great. It’s a much-needed unwinding after a busy day, week or month and you deserve it.
